Problem upgrading Ηeaderlinks 3.2.2-RC3

Post by Loukas2023 »

Good evening to the community.
I recently upgraded the headerlinks plugin to version 3.2.2-RC3 and the icons make the header bar taller, which the previous version didn't do. Is there a file to tweak the settings to make it look like before?

I am attaching 2 photos below, before and after the upgrade.

Thanks in advance.

It looks fine with prosilver on my test board. What style are you using?

There are a number of new problems that are created by trying to solve this one. (which is typical)

The simplest (and I think neatest) solution would be to use my [3.3][CDB] Navbar Search Search extension which gives you the following

Please let me know if you are happy with this

It's fine with this technique, although i liked it better in the Navbar position which looks perfect.
Anyway, thanks for your time and the solutions you give to all of us who don't know good programming.

When I managed to get the links lined up correctly, they then overlapped the search in its original position once you had a lot of links or a smaller screen size.

I'll have another look and see if I can resolve this, but no promises

In the previous version the only problem i faced was that the buttons, even though they were set only for registered members, were also displayed to visitors. That's why i changed the version.
As for the number of links, i don't use more than 6 on the forum and they all display fine on every device. I have no demand from you, you volunteer the projects to the PHPBB community and i thank you for that.

Try the attached

Disable Header Links and NavBar Search

Download, unzip and upload it to ext/hifikabin/headerlink/styles

Enable Header Links

Search is back where it was with the links aligned with it, but there will be overlap in certain cases
