Hi, I installed the bot blocking htaccess file in my iPboard 3.3.3 setup and all appeared well, no issues noted. However some 15 minutes later people reported that Tapatalk was no longer able to access the forum.
I went back to the original htaccess file and all was well.
Any ideas how to modify the htaccess file so that it will block bots but allow Tapatalk to function?
Thanks in advance.

I am afraid not as I have no knowledge of Tapatalk (and of course there have been security issues reported on phpBB.com)

Thanks for hat, I'll see if I can contact him
A question if I may, when registering on your site the user is presented with a nice legal page / GPDR section etc. Are these standard on phpBB (if so I can't find where to enter such text) or are they don via an Extension?
Thanks

No I wasn't aware, although I thought I had signed up for updates. Thanks for letting me know and I will adjust the HTACCESS as needed later.

I have updated all of my sites .HTACCESS files to the 7G version without any error. It is now downloadable from Block Bad Bots with .HTACCESS
