Sticky navigation bar

Post by Galixte de EzCom » Sun Jun 04, 2017 9:48 am

Hi HiFiKabin !

where are your “Sticky navigation bar v1.0.0_BETA1” extension, i can see this: ext/hifikabin/stickybar/composer.json but there is no extension with this name presented here.

Do you know there is an equivalent here: https://github.com/cabot/fixednavbar ?

The Sticky Bar is something I have been working on (and off) for some time. Unfortunately my health has decided to take a turn for the worse, so everything has been put on hold for a while.

What I have so far is here if you would like to have a look.

My settings:
2017-06-08 17_44_43-Paramètres de la barre de navigation épinglée - Opera.png

Ok it appears correctly:
size of logo sticky bar.jpg

But on top of forum, above the header, there is a litte part of Sticky bar which is displayed:
logo sticky bar appears on top.jpg

This problem appears only when logo has an important height, so i suggest to modify the next file like that: ./ext/hifikabin/stickybar/styles/prosilver/theme/stickybar.css

FIND:

Code: Select all

#static-header.not-shown {
	top: -200px;
}
REPLACE WITH:

Code: Select all

#static-header.not-shown {
	top: -250px;
}

Hi Admin,

i have noticed during the refresh of the page this problem:
InkedCapture-d’écran-(6)_LI.jpg
During a short laps of time the navbar is scinded in two parts with some informations displayed twice.

Could you fix this, please ?

EDIT: I have just noticed the same fact here too. ;)

Yes, as you say it happens here as well. It is something I am aware of and will be looking at when I get to the RC stage.

However, it will not be happening soon as several of my other extensions need revision and re submitting to the CDB first.

I have had time to work on this, and now it is at the RC stage [3.1][3.2][RC] Sticky Bar

Further support will be given in the usual way and this topic locked.
